Ubud Village Jazz Festival Finely Blends Nature with Quality Live Music Performance

One of the most anticipated live music events in Bali, the Ubud Village Jazz Festival (UVJF) has just commenced. Held in the majestic venue of ARMA Ubud, UVJF this year still held its roots as a true jazz festival, gathering music enthusiasts from all around the globe. For two consecutive days, Friday to Saturday 7-8 August 2015, several performers brought out their best on the UVJF three main stages; Padi, Giri and Subak, from Indra Lesmana, Nita Aartsen, Dian Pratiwi, Alex Lahey, Ben Van Der Dungen, Laura Brunner and Grammy winners Oran Etkin, to local artists such as Dewa Budjana, I Wayan Balawan, Astrid Sulaiman, Yuri Mahatma, and young skillful musicians from the Underground Jazz Movement (UJM) project. The event also announced their second partnership with The Jazz Summer School in Korea-Netherlands as an initiative to promote Jazz education in Indonesia.
