Different varieties of oil and lulur(scrub) are selected depending on specific individual needs.
For my treatment, I had the Smaradhana, 3.5 hour uplifting and romantic spa ritual that are designed for couples. Done in 2 days, this treatment comprisesof 1-hour massage, 1-hourlulur, 1 hour facial and 30 minutes baths including traditional Javanese siraman ritual and flower bath.
It started with the foot cleansing ritual followed by GendingApurva, the Apurva Spa signature massage that is based on the concept of healing energy. This exceptional massage is a combination of warm poultice, which is made from 69 wonderful herbs, mineral-rich salt and a variety of therapeutic massage. The therapist also appliedHealing oil generously and she worked her magic comforting and nurturing my body leaving my mind and body calm and replenished.The 60-minute scrub came next with the use of green apple, which is intended to nourish and soften the skin.
On the second day, male and female are given a different option. I opted for the Age Corrective Facial that plumps and rejuvenates the skin to minimize fine lines, elastic and oxygenated skin. My husband chose the NaluriRoso, meditative and soothing massage focusing on the face and scalp to deeply relax the body and awaken the senses. Next, 30 minutes bath was performed consisting of traditional Javanese siraman ritual and flower bath. The treatment concluded with a cup of jamufor hormone balance and health in the relaxation lounge so I could chill and savour an experience that left me completely relaxed.
The experience does not end there as we escorted to Deli Selasar for a Chakra-boost afternoon tea. Everyone is given a different snack and drink depending on your chakra. Measuring your chakra is done before the treatment begins. Before we left, Spa home treatment gift was given,an ideal finale to complete a most soothing and refreshing day.
