The Quincy Hotel’s location is one of the reasons many visitors to Singapore including myself, chose this hotel. The renowned Orchard Road shopping belt is only a five-minute walk away, Paragon Shopping Mall is about 3 minutes on foot and the nearest MRT Station can be accessed with a 5-minute walk. For those visiting for medical reasons the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre is also within walking distance from the hotel. To taste the famous Singaporean street food, the Newton Hawker Centre is just a short walk from The Quincy Hotel.
The lobby here is small and adjoins a dining area that features large glass panels overlooking a lawn that add to a sense of space. There is an iMac station in the reception area for guest use.
Quincy features 108 rooms and utilizes key card-only access. This is the first hotel in Singapore to operate such a system that ensures the security and privacy of guests.
The rooms are not large here but a clever design plan manages to create a sleek and stylish interior that is most comfortable. Rooms have open concept bathrooms complete with exclusive amenities. The hotel offers buffet breakfast, all-day light refreshments, complimentary in-room mini-bar and evening cocktails with canapes. All everyday needs are taken care of here.
The hotel features a glass-encased infinity pool with views of Singapore’s skyline on the 12th floor that offers a refreshing and relaxing venue after a day of shopping. A 24-hour gym is situated close to the pool.
For weekend visitors the hotel offers the ‘Qool Weekend’ package that includes more benefits including a bottle of red wine, couple art jamming sessions (Saturdays) or cupcake baking classes (Sundays) and movies by or in the pool on Saturday nights.
