The story of the development of SANAK Retreat began as the French founders met and spent time with a local Balinese family back in 2011. Impressed by their hospitality, the French then decided to buy some land in the village of Kayuputih near the hill station of Munduk, and make the head of that Balinese family, Pak Gusti, the co-owner of the boutique retreat.

There are 11 spacious wooden bungalows featured here, all with their own private terrace or balcony overlooking a pool and a beautiful tropical landscape.
