Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin situated at Bulgari Resort Bali presents the new Spring menu created by the resident Chef Alessandro Mazalli under the guidance of Chef Luca Fantin.
Originally from Pavia, Alessandro Mazzali started his professional career after finishing his internship at Bulgari Hotel Milano on 2012. In 2022 Luca Fantin approached Alessandro to lead Bali’s Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin, knowing that he would be the perfect candidate to replicate the cooking philosophy that Luca Fantin is renowned for and now Chef Alessandro is here at Bulgari Resort Bali to helm Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin.
Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin is a 36-seat restaurant that opens for dinner serving 5 to 7 degustation menu. Discerning diners can enjoy the opulent and calm atmosphere at Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin while savouring the sumptuous menu on offered. The spring menu takes inspiration from the freshness and colors of the seasons, while paying homage to the freshness and quality of the ingredients. It is a combined hallmark of Japanese and Italian food. The new menu features a combination of unconventional flavors such as tobacco and Persian black lemon called loomi to create exceptional taste.
If you opt for the 5-course menu, start your evening with Scallop carpaccio, cauliflower and caviar. Seafood lovers must like the next dish, which is Amberjack, pickle cucumber and tomato water. An interesting combination yet very delicious is Spaghetti with black lemon, zucchini flower and sweet pink prawn as the third course. Lamb, asparagus and goat cheese is the main course and end the dinner with Chocolate, coffee-whiskey ice cream, tobacco leaves.
The seven course menu consists of Seared scallop, parsley root and leek; Papuan crab salad, asparagus and green tomato; Sea urchin risotto; Spaghetti with cured fish roe and smoked butter; Seasonal local fish guazzetto, potato and caviar; Beef, red capsicum filled with sweetbread, pecorino romano and mint; and a choice of dessert. Wine pairing is also available.
