A Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability is central to Tri Vananda, with the Wetland Nature Reserve acting as a natural water filtration and storage system for both the development and Phuket Island, and the Community Garden providing fresh produce for the property’s restaurants while offering interactive farming classes. The on-site Michelin Green Star awarded restaurant, JAMPA, led by chef Rick Dingen, follows a farm-to-fork concept, using seasonal ingredients from Pru Jampa Farm and local sources. JAMPA’s closed-loop system ensures minimal waste, with vegetable scraps feeding chickens that supply fresh eggs, and compost used as fertilizer, promoting pesticide-free farming and reducing CO2 emissions. Additionally, PRU, the Michelin One Star restaurant, stands at the forefront of sustainable dining in Thailand, further enhancing the resort’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.
