Museum Pacifika

Located in the heart of Kuta, d’topeng is a new art heritage museum that showcases a huge collection of Indonesian cultural heritage objects such as textiles, carvings, paintings, puppets, daggers, traditional weapons and utensils for everyday use. This place was opened with a mission and a commitment
to keep and preserve Indonesian culture.
Among other interesting objects that can be seen in this museum is the collection of more than 2,000 topeng (masks) collected from many islands in Indonesia. These masks have a high historical value because some of them were made between the 18th and 20th centuries and used for religious ceremonies and worship rituals with sacred dances from various ethnicities and several royal palaces in Java.
For your convenience, the Museum has a restaurant that offers various Indonesian dishes and beverages from 33 provinces; as well as a handicraft centre where you can purchase a large variety of merchandise for people of all ages.
Open from 10 am – 7 pm, this one stop window into the art of Indonesia certainly presents as more than just an ordinary museum.
