Open from 4 pm to 1 am, this tofu place offers only 1 type of dish called Tahu Teck, a mixture of fried tofu combined with potatoes, steamed rice cake, and topped off with petis (a special Indonesian paste) dressing, fresh bean sprouts and some Indonesian fried crackers. Having started the business over 20 years ago, this street vendor has become the most sought after place for the tofu lover.
This fried but juicy on the inside tofu, attracts hundreds of tofu lovers everyday. The portion is just the right size and can be savoured at anytime of the day. With its very affordable price, it is no wonder that they draw lots of
local and out of town customers.

Pak Gendut

Serving a unique yet tasty dish for years, Lontong Balap Pak Gendut has been one of the favourites for many people. The dish consists of steamed rice cake, cooked bean sprouts, sambal petis (petis sauce), sprinkled with some fried stuff made of red beans marinated in special spices for 10 hours, and finished off with some prawn broth as well as cockle satay on the side.
The combination of different ingredients in one dish creates an unusual yet flavourful dish. Open from 3 pm – 10 pm everyday, Lontong Balap Pak Gendut is always
